Our 2024 Annual General Owner's Meeting was held on December 9, 2024. Results of the 2025 Budget and Reserve Funding Options resulted in a "waive fully-fund" directive, with a five (5%) percent increase of our monthly assessment beginning January 1, 2025. All owners should have had an assessment notification delivered to your front door, or, by USPS providing you with your specific assessment amount due each month. The 2025 Budget, as approved by owners, was then approved by the Board of Directors. Two Directors were elected duting the meeting. Greg Parthemer was re-elected, and Lisda Biggs was elected. There remains toe open Director positions. A brief comment session reviewed our finances, along with projects that were completed in 2024 and proposed projects for 2025. The meeting Minutes and additional documentation was emailed or delivered to all owners and residents. Thank you to all our owners that attended the meeting and thank you to our volunteers that helped throughout the year. Also, thank you to Ann Schings and Nancy Flaherty for their work and input while serving our Board.
All are invited to our next meeting, The Woodbrooke Open Directors Meeting, Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. in our Community Room.
Our pool is closed for the winter. The winter cover is on and the pool systems have been winterized for the season. The courtyard area is available for use-but everybody must stay off of the pool cover. The cover can tear and somebody could fall under the cover and not be seen. There is water in the pool-so this is a safety hazard that can injure/take somebody's life. The straps holding the cover have anchors in the sidewalks that stick up and are a trip hazard. Please-be careful around the pool. The pool cover is expected to be opened on Friday, April 18, 2025 per our schedule. Thank you!
Our garage driveway repair has been completed. all other projects for the season have been completed with the building winterized for the season. Additional work on the pool heater will take place during the off season along with a couple plumbing upgrades to the pool filter system and pool room plumbing. The Board is working on proposed projects for 2025.
Salt bins and shovels have been placed in each building foyer for owners/residents to use. Please understand-with the winter season comes the risk of slips/falls with ice and snow. The Association is contracted with our service provider to clear snow after a two-inch snowfall. We will continue to work with our service provider, as we have in the past, to keep our sidewalks, drives, and parking lot as safe as possible during the winter conditions. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
